Stupid Sleep

I really need to start setting alarms on my days off. I woke up a bit and saw that it was only 8:30, figured I could get another hour or so in. Bam, it's now after noon. I know it's only a few hours of awake time in the morning, but it feels like so much longer when you actually do it. I'm now making breakfast at 2pm.

  1. I agree, and it's also why I often skip breakfast and go straight to lunch

  2. On days off I try to let my body get as much sleep as it needs so that it recovers from the lack of sleep on other days, even if that means breakfast at 2pm.

  4. Ahhh I hate that. Bad sleeping patterns suck. In summer I got up at 5.30 to go for a run and beach swim - you feel so good after it.

  6. Haha. That sucks. After years of training, I've got a pretty good internal alarm. I can almost flawlessly wake up within 10 minutes of the time I want.

  7. I hate when that happens, during the summer I'll be like oh wow I'm up before 9? Then I'll close my eyes for like 5 minutes, then it's well after noon. I hate it so much, waste of a day.

  8. You could try placing different alarms far enough away from your bed that you actually have to get up to turn it off! just by a really obnoxious one that you cant ignore.

  12. Everybody hates morning, so it's nice to have no reason to wake up early lol

  13. I have to put my alarm across the room so I have to get up, or I'll sleep through it.

  14. I hate when that happens. Not only because I feel like I've lost half the day, but the weird feeling in my body. I get all sluggish with no energy when I sleep too long.

  15. Like what JPG said, I started putting my cellphone(my only alarmclock) on the table across the room so I have to get up to get it.
It gives me the chance to think atleast, or put the alarm for another hour, instead of hitting Stop Alarm and going back to sleep with the cellphone in my hand. xD
